For 3 – 5 year olds
Kalker Montessori Centre offers a ‘Care Program’ for children enrolled in the Preschool Program. The Care Program follows the same Montessori ethos and principles as the preschool programs and is staffed by the Centre’s educators. The experiences provided in the Care Program focus on social interactions, art and creativity, craft, music and movement, practical life skills (cooking, gardening etc.), outdoor play and other similar experiences.
The Care Program :
- Is optional and parents can choose the day/s they want their child to attend
- Sessions run from the end of the Preschool Program until 5pm.
- In 2027 an optional full-day Care Program on Friday may be available
- In 2027 a morning Care Program will be available from 8:30am to 9am
- Runs during school terms only
- Does not qualify for the Child Care Subsidy
- Casual places are available
