Children’s self-expression is promoted through creative activities. We believe that children benefit from gaining skills and techniques that enhance their capacity for self-expression and communication. To this end, our environments provide opportunities for creative experiences such as drawing, painting, sculpture, drama, dance, movement, music and storytelling.
Educators and children use these experiences as a powerful means of communication as ideas, thoughts and concepts can be exchanged through them. Confidence with self-expression also allows a child to connect with others and extend their learning.
